Style of Worship at First Methodist Church Clewiston
Worship is celebrating the presence of God in our lives, both individually and in community. As Christians, we follow Christ and are tied together through the Christian story. We typically worship in the Sanctuary at 10 am on Sunday mornings and worship includes hymns, praise choruses, prayer, scripture reading, dramas, Biblically based messages and other avenues that we pray are worshipful and meaningful in our worship of God. We have both traditional and contemporary components in worship. Our hope is to offer additional worship services or events in the months to come at differing time and days to meet the needs of the community. If you do not have a relationship with God, we hope that worship will be one of the elements that leads you to further exploring and/or beginning a relationship with God. If you already have a relationship with God, we hope that our worship together will help you grow on your journey with Jesus.
