Pastor Jeff Smith and Margaret

Pastor Jeff Smith has been appointed as the interim pastor at First Methodist Clewiston, while the church searches for a pastor for their next chapter in ministry. Pastor Jeff was the senior pastor at First Clewiston for nine years before his retirement in 2023. Prior to his time in Clewiston he pastored 5 other churches in Florida.

In his early twenties, he toured as a professional musician, and shortly thereafter answered a call to ministry. Academically Pastor Jeff earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, a Master’s Degree in Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary and is an ordained elder.

Pastor Jeff teaches at Clewiston Christian School and is an evangelist with Pentecost For America. He is married to his wife Margaret and together they have five children and an awesome “bunch” of grandchildren.
