The Power of God. We see it everyday, but do we recognize it?
When the sun rises and the clouds come together to bring rain or snow; or you see the birth of another beautiful child; do we laud the God of all creation? We should praise His Holy name.
In Luke 19, on what we now call Palm Sunday, Jesus rode into Jerusalem to the cheers of the people and the Pharisees told Jesus to rebuke his disciples for celebrating his arrival. “I tell you,” [Jesus] replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.” All of creation recognizes the King of Creation.
On the third day after they crucified our Lord, the world was put on notice that God is The Almighty and the real resurrection of His Son, Jesus the Christ, was complete. Jesus over-came crucifixion, death, and taking the sins of the world upon His shoulders. This was a re-al resurrection and that is of significant meaning for you and me.
We have the promise of an eternal life; a heavenly home; and a new life that begins the moment we say yes to Jesus as our Lord. This Easter, share the good news about this real resurrection with others and invite them to experience church for themselves so they can know what real resurrection looks like from the stories about Jesus and what resurrection can mean for their life too!
God bless you.
He Has Risen!
He Has Risen…Indeed!
